Dual-cure fluid composite (low viscosity)
Bisfil 2B is a hybrid, radio-opaque self-polymerizing composite, indicated for use as a base layer in composite-based posterior restorations in "guided contraction technique".
This technique suggests that Bisfil 2B, unlike the photopolymerizable composite, begins to develop an adjacent cure to the naturally warmer surfaces of the dentin.
Given that absolutely any composite has a polymerization contraction, the effect of this technique is to direct the polymerization towards the tooth, reducing the risks of forming marginal defects.
Advantages:
- Bisfil 2B is a low viscosity composite, which ensures a uniform application
- It has a quick plug
- Being a radio-opaque, the material is easy to identify in scans and x-rays
It is recommended to use an adhesive compatible with resins composites with self or dual cure and a photopolymerizable composite. Careful! Not all adhesive systems are compatible with self / dual cure composite resins.
For details, see the manufacturer's instructions.
It is recommended to use the Bisco double syringe gun.
