Apply Esthetic Stain to the pre-sintered zirconium oxide framework, laying the foundation for quick and easy individualization.

Each tooth has its own unique internal shade structure. Due to the raw materials used and its unique shade structure and being developed specifically for the KATANA Zirconia Multi-Layered zirconia disc range, Esthetic Stain products allow you to easily and effectively recreate a variety of these unique characteristics.

These liquid pigments are simply applied to monolithic or anatomical restorations after milling, using a non-metallic brush or pen brush, preferably with a Liquid Brush Pen. Esthetic Stain diffuses into the presintered structure and sets during sintering without additional firing, resulting in natural-looking shade effects that glow from within the restoration.

You might think that the use of tinting liquids negatively influences the flexural strength of the zirconia substructure, but Esthetic Tinting has been optimised to limit a reduction in strength and avoid failures.

3. COMPACT RANGE FOR A SIMPLIFIED PROCEDURE

The Esthetic Stain range consists of only 12 shades, with which you can recreate the effects and shade of natural teeth even before sintering for aesthetic purposes. 

EFFICIENT PROCEDURE FOR NATURAL-LOOKING RESULTS

PREPARATION

Clean the restoration from KATANA Zirconia.

COLOURING

Apply Esthetic Staining / Infiltration Liquid Stain to the restoration.

DRYING

Dry at 80 - 200°C for at least 30 minutes. Use a ceramic backing to avoid contact with metal.

SINTERING

Sinter the restoration according to your preferred sintering schedule. 

For the "KATANA Zirconia" Multi-Layered series, 54 minute, 90 minute and 7 hour sintering programs are available.

FINISHING

After sintering, finish the restoration by polishing, glazing or layering the porcelain.
