Collagenated sponge pads

Deantigenated bone of animal origin, obtained by a patented Tecnoss process, which avoids the ceramization of hydroxyapatite crystals; it accelerates physiological resorption.

Totally resorbable, the pad supports the newly formed bone, keeping its shape and volume constant (bone conductivity properties). Moreover, thanks to its collagen content, it facilitates clot formation and consequently the invasion of regenerative and reparative cells, with restitution ad integrum.

Perfectly biocompatible and biodegradable (these qualities have been recognized by tests carried out on living tissues at the University of Turin, according to ISO 10993 method). Thanks to their marked "hygroscopicity", they can function as carriers of medicinal substances.

Clinical applications

Maxillo-facial surgery: total or partial reconstruction of anatomical areas affected by accidents or tumors, bone addition after extractions, apical resections, odontogenic cysts, cleft ridges.

Periodontology: periodontal pockets, additions in areas of exposed furcations (even large ones)

Implantology: optimal alveolar filling in immediate post-extraction implants, facilitating primary stability; treatment of dehiscences and periodontal implants

Physical properties

RESORPTION TIME: The resorption time is strictly dependent on the site of grafting, the degree of vascularization of the recipient tissue and the clinical condition of the patient.

In general, it resorbs in a minimum of 8 months.
