The rheological additive in the Herculite XRV Ultra Flow formula has the ability to change surface tension as the material comes into contact with the tooth surface under pressure, allowing it to extend to the edges of the area requiring restoration. The same additive produces a higher surface tension after application of the material so that it does not leak.
