DemeTECH PTFE are monofilament sutures made of Teflon (polytetrafluoroethylene - PTFE). They are specially designed for fragile tissues. 

Sterile, non-absorbable, white. Contains no additives or colorants

Ideal for wound closure in maxillo-facial surgery, after augmentative and implantology procedures, where the use of a soft monofilament thread is recommended.

Description:

The smooth surface of the threads provides tissue protection, minimizing the degree of trauma to the gingiva and optimizing the patient's post-operative comfort. They have a very low coefficient of friction compared to other materials, gliding easily through the tissues, thus reducing the likelihood of tissue damage. 

Very flexible, highly tear-resistant, easy to knot and biologically neutral.

Versatile: suitable for a wide range of indications

The nature of the monofilament prevents the possibility of bacteria entering the surgical wound.
