Clearfil SE Bond kit

Clearfil SE Bond is a light-curing, 2-step adhesive system known as the "gold standard" of self-etching adhesive systems.

The Clearfil SE Bond adhesive system consists of a self-etching primer ( water-based solution), which ensures simultaneous treatment of enamel and dentin, and an adhesive containing MDP monomer, an innovation patented by Kuraray.

Indications:

- direct restorations made with composites or light-curing composites

- intraoral repairs of fractured crowns made of ceramic, hybrid ceramic or light-curing composite resins

- surface treatment for prosthetic work in ceramic, hybrid ceramic or composite resins

Minimal postoperative sensitivities

In CLEARFIL™ SE BOND, the mildly self-deneralising primer makes irritation caused by movement of dental fluid minimal. When the higher viscosity bonding agent is applied on top of the primer, a strong and stable adhesive layer is created. This layer seals the dentinal tubules excellently so that occlusal stress caused by potential dentinal fluid movement is prevented. The result: minimal post-operative sensitivity.
