OpalDam is a light-curing methacrylate-based material for the isolation of tissues adjacent to teeth that will undergo bleaching treatment. OpalDam has the property of reflecting light and is used to protect the adjacent teeth, if for example only one tooth is to be whitened.
Light-curing resin for isolation (liquid dam) protects soft tissues whenever a harsh chemical is used around the area.
When a matrix does not fit tightly around a severely compromised tooth, use OpalDam resin (liquid dam) barriers to seal the matrix.
