The Rotary Needle Remover is used to remove filling materials from the root canal during non-surgical endodontic treatment

Removal involves re-accessing the pulp chamber, removing three-dimensional filling materials intracanalicularly before proceeding to the new root treatment

Removal of filling materials is considered a difficult operation, but remains essential to achieve successful endodontic retreatment. It generally requires the use of some solvent which unfortunately is toxic to patients

The Rotary Needle Remover was specifically designed to remove gutta-percha filling material during endodontic retreatment. As an essential tool for retreatment, the Remover accomplishes the mechanical removal of gutta-percha from the root canal without the use of any solvent. Once the gutta-percha has been removed from the root canal using Remover, the clinician can proceed with instrumentation of the canal using his usual needles and preparation scheme.
