CERABIEN™ MiLai is a new range of dental ceramics and internal stains specifically designed for the zirconium oxide or lithium disilicate supported micro-layering technique. The range comprises 16 shades of ceramic and 15 shades of easy to select and manage internal stains. 

The name MiLai is a combination of the term "micro-stratification" and the Japanese word "mirai" (meaning future).

The innovative synthetic feldspar-based product allows dental technicians to create the final look of zirconia or lithium disilicate restorations in a simple and time-saving procedure for outstanding aesthetics right from the start.

Unique porcelain properties

Based on a synthetic feldspathic feldspathic ceramic that offers easy handling and predictable mechanical properties. Repeated restoration firing is possible.

CERABIEN MiLai porcelain is fluorescent, mimicking the optical properties of the natural tooth. These add to the vitality and natural appearance of a restoration. Only Tissue shades do not have the same fluorescent properties, as natural gingiva does not fluoresce.

Low firing temperature (740°C)

For compatibility with a wide range of restorative materials including zirconia and lithium disilicate* 

*CERABIEN™ MiLai can be used on lithium disilicate materials that have CTE in the range of 10.2~10.5×10-6/°C (50°C).

The firing temperature of CERABIEN MiLai porcelains and internal colors is lower than that of CERABIEN ZR porcelains (740°C compared to 930°C). This property makes CERABIEN MiLai the fast solution for finishing restorations in oxide ceramics (e.g. zirconium oxide) and silicate* ceramics (e.g. lithium disilicate). With fewer porcelain ranges required, the porcelain inventory is further reduced and fewer decisions have to be made.

If desired, CERABIEN MiLai porcelains and internal colors can even be applied over CERABIEN ZR, as the lower firing temperature reliably prevents any warping of the existing porcelain structure.

Warning! The above program is only a guideline. The firing temperature may vary depending on the specifics of each kiln. Porcelain kiln temperature variations can be significant in the lower ranges.
