These 5 Opaque shades are the newest shades in Kuraray Noritake's CZR Shade Base range and are ideal for creating vivid, natural-looking restorations.

Increased opacity

Easy to use

Easier to adjust zirconium shade for:

- layering false gum (tissue) ceramic on zirconium-based structure

- masking/opacifying zirconium when the dental blunt is metallic/pigmented

High masking/opacifying capacity: although applied in a thin layer, it can successfully opacify translucent zirconium caps, even in cases where the dental blunt is metallic or highly pigmented dental tissue

INSTRUCTIONS:

Prepare the surface of the zirconium structure/cap.

To increase the adhesion of the ceramic to the zirconia apply a thin layer of opaque in the desired shade (CZR SB Opaque) on the entire surface of the zirconium restoration and fire using the appropriate program (program no. 2, for ShadeBase/SB powder).

Apply the second coat of opaque to mask/opaque the desired area and bake using the appropriate program.

If necessary, apply a third coat of ShadeBase/SB porcelain to achieve the desired base shade.
