AFFINIS PRECIOUS is the newest generation of Coltene's impression materials. It is distinguished by an ideal, improved fluidity that allows the impression material to capture details more easily, even in wet environments.
Indications
- Fluid material for two-step impression technique
- Lining impression material
The unique colours of the material - silver for the light body and gold for the regular body - reduce light scattering, improving the visibility of the edges of the impression.
Mixing time: 00:15 min
Variable working time: 5-60 seconds
Total working time: 3:40 min
Oral cavity setting time (35°C/95°F): 2:20 min
The variable working time is due to the thermoreactive formula, which allows accelerated setting after the impression has set and the material has reached the final layer thickness.
The total setting time is directly proportional to the number of preparations included in the impression - fewer preparations, less setting time.
Affinis - the first range of impression materials to produce autoclavable impressions at 134°C, without affecting the physical properties well known and appreciated by doctors. Affinis impressions - not only clean, but also sterile.
